In order to create a culture of privacy in an organization, it is important to educate staff members about their role in privacy, security and respecting and protecting the personal information of colleagues and customers. If you visit certain sites often, like Google or social media sites, review their privacy policy and see if you can optimize your individual privacy settings. Many sites will allow you to opt-out of data collection with a simple click of a button. Always use virus protection and a firewall on all your computers, phones, and tablets.
