We are trying to make VPN connections from a branch office through a WRT54GS router. The connections fail, as protocol 47 (GRE) is apparently not supported on this model.Has anyone else run into this? Any advice? So, if I am reading what you wrote correctly, you flashed the factory to dd-wrt file (which is all you needed to do to flash dd-wrt to the opposite partition, leaving the linksys stock firmware on the first) as the web flash is for flashing newer or the same version of dd-wrt from within dd-wrt to the opposite partition.
